Syril Pecson is a Filipino-born animator and illustrator based in Hawai‘i. Having moved to the islands at age 13, his work is shaped by a blend of Filipino and Hawaiian cultural influences. Specializing in 2D animation and character design, Syril explores themes of identity, community, and emotion through vibrant and comedic visual storytelling. Inspired by a lifelong passion for television and film, he aims to create compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. Currently pursuing a degree in Animation at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Syril continues to refine his craft while contributing to collaborative and independent projects.
